Your Branding Photography Experience
When you book your Denver branding photography session with me, I walk you through everything. We start by understanding your brand and designing your session from strategy and locations to outfits and props so your images work hard for your marketing.
Here’s what you can expect:
Contact
First, simply fill out my contact form to get started. Let me know your questions or if there is a deadline you are working to meet.
Questionnaire
Once I receive your questionnaire, I will follow-up with you for our consultation! We'll dive into your brand, discuss recommendations and tips, answer any questions you have, and help you as you prepare for your session.
Session Day
First and foremost, take a breath, relax, and enjoy this time. If you are upset, sick, or not enjoying, that’s all that you will remember when you look at your photos. Enjoy your session!
Schedule
Next, schedule your session date and time. Weekends book up quickly. Ideally, schedule your session at least two weeks ahead, you’ll want time to prepare.
Outfits
I recommend clothing that is comfortable and fits who you are. (Don’t wear an outfit that you normally wouldn’t.) Choose a few different outfits for variety. Try to choose colors close to your brand colors or neutrals. (i.e. don't wear red if your colors are purple and teal.)
Be Early
To be on time, be early. Being early will help you relax and enjoy from the start!
Location
We will choose a location to fit your brand — either on-location at your space, I can recommend a studio space, or outdoors. For outdoor settings, the best lighting is right around sunrise or before sunset.
Props
There are a variety of props that can help expose your brand and show what you do! Products, tools, materials, books, branded gear, signs, equipment, etc.
Turn-Around
Give me about 2 weeks to go through and edit your photos. You will receive your final digital images through an online gallery.
Book
Once we schedule your session, you’ll receive the photography agreement and deposit invoice via email. A 50% deposit will hold your date and pay toward your balance. The final payment is due by the day of your session.
Website & Collateral
Share your website, social profiles, and marketing collateral with me. If you will be redesigning any, try to have an idea of what you want it to look like or examples.
Gallery
When your photos are ready, you will receive an email with your gallery access information. You will also receive a PIN to download your images straight to your computer.

Branding Photography Booking FAQs

Contact me and let me know what you’re looking for, website images, social content, headshots plus lifestyle branding photos, or a full brand refresh, to start designing your session. At the time of booking, you’ll sign the photography agreement and pay a nonrefundable 50% deposit to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.

Branding photoshoots are customized to your needs: number of images, locations, outfits, and how you plan to use your photos. Typical Denver branding packages start around your listed rate and are custom quoted per project, with details outlined in your branding photography guide and proposal so you know exactly what’s included.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of your branding session. Sessions canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours of your session time may incur a cancellation fee; please contact your photographer as soon as possible if anything changes.

A marketing release is provided for commercial use as part of your branding photography package, allowing you to use your images for your website, social media, marketing materials, and internal business use. Underexposed, LLC retains the copyright to all images; if you need additional licensing or a different type of release, just let us know and we can discuss options.
